We are a family-owned martial arts school dedicated to authentic Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan training. Our journey began with a simple mission: to provide a welcoming environment where students of all ages can develop discipline, respect, and the confidence to lead. Through traditional values and expert instruction, we empower our community to become the best version of themselves.

Caleb Underwood, Sa Bom

Caleb Underwood has trained in Soo Bahk Do since 2012 and serves as the Owner and Chief Men's Instructor of Tomball Soo Bahk Do. A 4th Degree Midnight Blue Belt (Sa Dan) and Certified Master Instructor (Sa Bom), he has earned multiple National Championship titles and represented the United States at the International Youth Leadership Symposium in South Korea. Caleb is passionate about helping students build confidence, discipline, respect, and strong character through traditional martial arts.

Leighanna Underwood, Kyo Sa

Leighanna Underwood has trained in Soo Bahk Do since 2012 and serves as Owner and Chief women's Instructor. A 3rd Degree Midnight Blue Belt (Sam Dan) and Certified Instructor (Kyo Sa). She has earned numerous awards at the World Moo Duk Kwan National Championship Tournament and represented the United States at the 2022 World Moo Duk Kwan Youth Leadership Symposium in South Korea. Leighanna enjoys helping students grow in confidence, discipline, and character through traditional martial arts and currently leads Tomball Soo Bahk Do’s Tiger Tot program.

Mr. John Schulte

John Schulte began training in Soo Bahk Do in 2020 and currently serves as an Assistant Instructor at Tomball Soo Bahk Do. An Ee Dan (2nd Degree Midnight Blue Belt), John has participated in numerous regional and local events, including specialized clinics, instructor development programs, and competition tournaments.

 

Beginning his Soo Bahk Do journey at the age of 56, John is a testament to the belief that it is never too late to start and never too late to grow. He continues to train and develop his understanding of the art under the guidance of Sa Bom Nim Caleb Underwood and Kyo Sa Leighanna Underwood.
